1850. Ninth Edition. 261 pages. No dust jacket. Marbled paper covered boards. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Creasing to edges of a few pages. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Pencil scribbling to some pages. Binding is shaky. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Loss to spine ends. Moderate splits to spine joints. Heavy scuffing to edges and surfaces. Mild tanning to spine and edges.
