Heavy cracking to hinges and gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Previous owner's name to front endpaper. Small edge tear to p372 not affecting text. Slight marks and tears to rear endpaper and pastedown. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and small splits to spine ends. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Book has strong forward lean. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall.
