Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Mild cracking to front hinge, causing free endpapers to be slightly loose. Binding throughout remains firm. Heavy marking and staining with pen inscription to first title page. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Pencil annotations to most pages, with occasional black ink smudges. Slightly affecting page 123, however text still readable. Folded illustrations is moderately tanned and foxed, with small area of loss to top-right corner. Occasional dog-eared corners, with thumb-marking throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Small splits to spine ends, causing cloth to fray. Noticeable water stains with marks and scratches overall. Book has a slight forward lean.
