1825. No Edition Stated. 460 pages. Brown gilt-tooled leather with gilt titles to spine. Marbled endpapers and text block edges. Illustrated frontispiece and pre title page. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Foxing more intense towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Previous owner's inscription to first few pages. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and rubbing to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed with upper section peeling away. Joints worn too with slight splits. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall, especially spine which is sunned too. Gilt is bright.
