Prof. John Damilakis, PhD, FIOMP, FIUPESM, is a full professor and chairman at the Department of Medical Physics, School of Medicine, University of Crete and director of the Department of Medical Physics of the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, Greece. He is President of the ‘International Organization for Medical Physics’ (IOMP), 2022-2025, Past President of the ‘European Alliance for Medical Radiation Protection Research’ (EURAMED), Past President of the ‘European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics’ (EFOMP) and Past President of the ‘Hellenic Association of Medical Physics’. He is a coordinator and an active research member of several European and national projects.

Prof. Eva Bezak, PhD, FIOMP, FIUPESM, is a Professor at the University of South Australia (UNISA). She has an MSc in Medical Physics (University of Adelaide) and a PhD in Nuclear Physics (Australian National University). From 2006 till 2015 she was a Chief Physicist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital responsible for services provision to radiation oncology in South Australia and has been a regular contributor in the Medical Radiation Program at the University of South Australia for a number of years. She was appointed a Professor at the University of South Australia in 2015. She is the current president of IOMP and immediate past president of AFOMP. In 2025 she was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering.

Prof. Dipl. Ing. Magdalena S. Stoeva, PhD, FIOMP, FIUPESM, FISC is a Professor in Diagnostic Imaging at the Medical University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She has broad professional experience in various academic institutions – Technical University, Medical University, International Medical Physics Center and the ICTP with responsibilities related to the various aspects of medical physics, engineering and healthcare. Her activities are directed towards the professional development of medical physicists, incl. educational strategies, workplace balance, promoting and supporting science for early career and the LMICs, e-learning, emerging technology. She is also the Secretary General for the ‘International Organization for Medical Physics’ (IOMP), 2022-2028.
