Saviour Pirotta is a Maltese-born British author and playwright. His first book was published in the late 1980's and he has since gone on to write dozens of books for all ages. Saviour lives in the seaside town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire which he believes is the perfect home for an author, with its lovely beaches, cafes to write in and the tastiest fish and chips in the world! Valeria Szucs grew up in Hungary and later moved to the UK with her family. She studied illustration at Swansea College of Art and mainly works traditionally with watercolour and ink. She is inspired by her little dog and the beautiful countryside and beaches of Wales where she still lives. Like Samira, she firmly believes in magic worlds and hopes that her illustrations will transport readers to the magical lands where anyone can be whoever they want to be.
