Concrete Tokyo Map by Naomi Pollock

Edited by Naomi Pollock, with photography by Jimmy Cohrssen, the bilingual (Japanese and English) map serves as an expertly curated guide to Tokyo's unique concrete architecture. This map highlights the most unique and influential examples of concrete buildings and structures across the city. Architects featured include Tadao Ando, Le Corbusier, Toyo Ito, Tengo Kanze, Kunio Maekawa, Antonin Raymond and many others.

Naomi Pollock is an architect from the United States who now lives in Tokyo and writes on Japanese design. A+U, Dwell, Jutakutokushu, Wallpaper*, and Architectural Record, for whom she is the Special International Correspondent, have all featured her work. She is also the author of Modern Japanese Home and Hitoshi Abe (both published by Phaidon Publishing), as well as Made in Japan: 100 New Items and New Architecture in Japan.
