Mike McGrath is the quirky host of National Public Radio's "You Bet Your Garden,(R)" a nationally syndicated show that reaches listeners from New Jersey to Oklahoma and from Texas to Alaska. It is also available for download on Audible.com and airs on NPR Talk channel on Sirius satellite radio. The former editor of Organic Gardening magazine, McGrath has served as garden editor since 1999 for WTOP, the top-rated all-news radio station in Washington, D.C., and has written several books on vegetables and gardening. He lives in Pennsylvania.
