Grosvenor House Publishing Ltd. (GHP) has just announced the launch of their latest publication in their Little Books series entitled The Little Book of Heroes. GHP held a poetry writing competition in all 43 British Forces schools around the world in January of this year with the theme "My Hero" and compiled the winning entries into a Little Book. The poems are poignant, quirky, funny and sad and represent the ideas of our heroes' children from the age of 6 right up to the mid-teens on the subject of heroism. Both children and adults will enjoy reading the poems, which will bring tears of laughter and sadness to many an eye. But most of all they will give us all an insight into a child's view of the reality of having a parent "taken away" from them to go to war in a far off land. Simon Weston OBE has enthusiastically endorsed the Little Book as has the Sun newspaper which featuring some of the poems within their paper.
