You're Coming With Me Lad Zusammenfassung

You're Coming With Me Lad: Tales of a Yorkshire Bobby Mike Pannett

Following the great success of Now Then Lad, PC Mike Pannett returns with more tales of policing rural Yorkshire. In YOU'RE COMING WITH ME LAD Mike Pannett blends gentle humour with real-life action as he introduces the wonderful rural characters and breathtaking scenery on his local beat.

It's a far cry from Mike's old job hunting down drug gangs and knife crime in Central London. Now, in between investigating sightings of the mysterious 'Ryedale Panther' and dealing with a stag party that gets out of hand, Mike explores the natural beauty and rich wildlife of his Yorkshire surroundings. He meets local farmers, chases local thieves, and escorts John Prescott through the terrible floods at Malton.

Despite the pressures of patrolling six hundred square miles of God's Own Country, Mike still finds time for romance, will his relationship with WPC Anne Barker develop into something more serious?

YOU'RE COMING WITH ME LAD is an endearing - and revealing - portrait of a local bobby and his extraordinary beat.
