There are currently no books written for this topic, so this text will fill the gap. From the Cradle to the Grave Bewertungen

!nicely readable text, well laid out with well-chosen written and visual sources. The activities are many and varied and the Test and Exam advice section will be of particular usefulness! It will prove to be, I am sure, a popular standard text for this element of the Intermediate course, and deservedly so. -- History Teaching Review (SATH), Issue no 27 20020901 This is a very attractive book, which is well laid out and accessible to read. The style gets one thinking right away and engages the reader with questions followed by discussion topics. I liked the opening points to each chapter which explained what information chapters were likely to yield, and the chapter summary was used to confirm that information. It's a book one can dip into or read in sections, each section is well sourced with pictures, fact file information, music references, discussion points. I could really use this book in an imaginative way to plan creative sessions on the subject, and I would recommend it to you. -- Glo Potter, Principal Community Learning Worker, K 20020901
