With Leys School Headmaster's Office bookplate. Marbled endpapers and text block edges. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Large split to front hinge. Faint creases to some pages. Ex libris plate to front endpaper. Pages are water stained and warped to edges, but the text is unaffected. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and rubbing to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with a gaping split to upper front joint. Heavy water staining to spine area and rear. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright.
