Every Time You Say Goodbye Résumé

Every Time You Say Goodbye: A powerful saga of passion and desire June Tate

After a two-year courtship, Kitty Freeman agrees to marry Henry, fulfilling the expectations of both families. But their contented, settled existence is to change when Henry is called up to serve king and country in WWII. Being apart makes them both realise what true, passionate love is - for Henry falls for a Frenchwoman and Kitty is deeply enamoured with Guy Buckmaster, an American Lieutenant stationed in Southampton. Despite the fact that Henry, away from home, is free to follow his heart, Kitty is plagued by her conscience and the marriage vows she made. As confusion threatens to tear her apart, her loyalty to her family is questioned further, putting her very life in danger. Will she make the right decisions to ensure her future is a happy one?
