Fertile Fortune by James Miller
Situated on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Land Yeo Valley, Tyntesfield is one the last remaining examples of a great country house built in the Victorian High Gothic style.
James Miller is Deputy Chairman and head of the House Sales department. His detailed knowledge of art and antiques has been invaluable in directing historic auctions such as those at Mentmore Towers, Castle Howard and the Leverhulme Collection at Thornton Manor. Outside his role at Sotheby's, he has written extensively on a diverse range of artistic disciplines. As the consultant when the NT was building Tyntesfield, he was the natural choice as author.
